The procedure for the introduction of amendments to the technical regulations of the Customs Union TR CU 004/2011, TR CU 020/2011
Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated August 16, 2022 No. 113 determined the procedure for the implementation of amendments to the technical regulation of the Customs Union "On the safety of low-voltage equipment" (CU TR 004/2011), approved by the Decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated June 10, 2022. No. 90 (hereinafter respectively - Decision of the EEC Board No. 113, Decision of the EEC Council No. 90).
In accordance with the Decision of the EEC Board No. 113:
documents on conformity assessment of low-voltage equipment with the mandatory requirements of CU TR 004/2011, issued (adopted) before the date of entry into force of the Decision of the EEC Council No. 90 (December 11, 2022), are valid until the expiration of their validity period (hereinafter referred to as equipment, conformity assessment documents);
production and release into circulation of equipment is allowed until the expiration of the conformity assessment documents;
circulation of equipment put into circulation during the period of validity of documents on conformity assessment is allowed during the service life of this product.
A similar procedure for the entry into force by the Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated August 16, 2022 No. 114 was established in relation to changes to the technical regulation of the Customs Union "Electromagnetic compatibility of technical means" (CU TR 020/2011), approved by the Decision of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated June 10, 2022 No. 91 (hereinafter referred to as Decision of the EEC Board No. 114).
Decisions of the EEC Board No. 113 and 114 come into force after 30 calendar days from the date of their official publication.
