On changes to the EEC Conformity Assessment Schemes

Decision No. 11 of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated January 25, 2023 approved amendments to paragraphs 93 and 114 of the Conformity Assessment Schemes approved by Council Decision No. 44 dated April 18, 2018 (hereinafter referred to as the Schemes).

The list of cases is supplemented with changes when changing the information previously specified in the certificates of conformity or declarations of conformity:

it is allowed to replace these certificates of conformity or declarations of conformity and (or) annexes to them according to a simplified procedure;

replacement of certificates of conformity or declarations of conformity and (or) annexes to them is not required and is carried out at the discretion of the applicant, i.e. these documents on conformity assessment may be valid without making changes to them.

The list of cases is supplemented with the following:

renaming of a geographical object, element of the road network (street, avenue, square, alley, driveway, embankment, boulevard, etc.), element of the planning structure (district, microdistrict, etc.), renumbering of the addressing object (houses, premises, etc. .), postal code, indicated as details of the address of the place of activity for the manufacture of products (subject to the actual invariance of the place of activity for the manufacture of products), - in relation to the manufacturer of the product;

change in the name of a legal entity, last name, first name, patronymic (if any) of an individual registered as an individual entrepreneur, subject to the preservation of the registration or accounting (individual, identification) number and the invariance of the places of activity for the manufacture (production) of products.

Changes will come into effect either after the adoption and entry into force of changes to the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union regarding the establishment of forms, schemes and procedures for assessing conformity based on the Schemes, or after the entry into force of changes to the uniform forms of the certificate of conformity and declaration of conformity requirements of the technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union and the rules for their execution in accordance with the Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated December 20, 2022 No. 198 "On Amendments to the Decision of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission dated December 25, 2012 No. 293".
