ENERGY EFFICIENCY

On March 30, 2022, at the site of the Eurasian Economic Commission, a meeting of the working group (in the format of a videoconference) was held to consider the proposal to consider at a meeting of the Board of the Commission a draft decision of the Commission Council “On Amendments to the Decision of the Council of the Commission dated August 8, 2019 No. 114 “On technical regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union "On the requirements for the energy efficiency of energy-consuming devices" (TR EAEU 048/2019)" (hereinafter referred to as the draft decision).

           Based on the results of the meeting, the authorized representatives of the EAEU member countries unanimously developed a proposal to postpone the entry into force of the technical regulation TR EAEU 048/2019 to September 1, 2025.

           The decision of the Council of the Commission "On Amendments to the Decision of the Council of the Commission dated August 8, 2019 No. 114 "On the technical regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union "On the requirements for the energy efficiency of energy-consuming devices" (TR EAEU 048/2019)" will be adopted and published in the prescribed manner .

           Prior to the entry into force of TR EAEU 048/2019, national requirements for the energy efficiency of products previously established by the Resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated October 16, 2016 No. 849 are in force on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.
