On July 06, 2023, a meeting of the Governing Board of certification bodies for household and industrial products, services and management systems "BELLIS" (hereinafter referred to as the Governing Board) was held.
For reference: The Governing Council was established to ensure impartiality and improve the activities of certification bodies for household and industrial products, services and management systems of BELLIS and is an advisory body. Members of the Governing Council work on a voluntary basis, which ensures their independence. The Governing Board is free from any commercial, financial or other pressures that may influence decision making. The frequency of meetings of the Governing Council is at least once a year.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the State Standard, the Public Association "Belarusian Consumer Protection Society", the Council of Internal Affairs Bodies and Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, JSC "Testing and Certification of Household and Industrial Products" BELLIS ".
The following issues were considered at the meeting of the Governing Council:
- Compliance with BELLIS certification bodies of impartiality when carrying out work to confirm the conformity of products and management systems.
-Implementation of policies and procedures by BELLIS certification bodies.
- Compliance with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union (EAEU), the decisions of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the documents of the National System of Conformity Assurance of the Republic of Belarus, the National Accreditation System of the Republic of Belarus, the requirements of TNLA regulating the activities of bodies for certification of household and industrial products, services and management systems "BELLIS".
-Appeals against the activities of BELLIS certification bodies.
Based on the results of the discussion, it was decided to consider the work of JSC "Testing and certification of household and industrial products" BELLIS "satisfactory and sufficient in assessing the risks of impartiality and taking measures to minimize (eliminate) the risks of impartiality.
At a meeting of the Governing Council, the results of financial and economic activities for 2022, as well as promising areas for 2023, were considered.
