Market access to Belarus of electric products with built-in wireless modules (Bluetooth/Wi-fi/SRD) and radio/telecom apparatus. TR 2018/024/BY.  

Five countries are currently members of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU): Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Russian Federation. EAEU has unified technical regulation system:  EAEU Certificates/Declarations issued in one of the EAEU Member Country – are valid in all five Member Countries. Most of the requirements (such as LVD, EMC, RoHS, Machinery, etc.) are covered by Unified EAEU/CU Technical Requirements (EAEU/CU Technical Regulations). However, there are areas/requirements for which there are no EAEU Unified Technical Regulations and therefore National requirements are mandatory. For such areas (in addition to EAEU unified approvals for LVD/EMC/RoHS, etc.) National approvals must be received in each of the EAEU Member Countries in order to supply/sell products to these countries. The National Approvals (in addition to EAEU approvals) shall be provided at the Customs (in order to import the products) and on the market (in order to sell the products).

In Belarus for electrotechnical/electronics consumer products these additional National requirements are:

Applicable Belarus Regulation: TR 2018/024/BY  "Technical Regulation of the Republic of Belarus: Telecommunication Facilities: Safety. TR 2018/024/BY"

Products covered:

a) radio/telecom devices (such as routers, modems, servers, telephones etc.)

b) any devices/products (e.g. notebook, mobile phone, refrigerator, TV, mouse, keyboard, car key, car audio etc.) that have built-in radio modules (e.g. WiFi/Bluetooth/GSM/SRD and other). Form of conformity approval – mandatory Declaration of Conformity (or Certificate of conformity - based on the decision of the customer).

Essential requirements: local testing in all cases is required in a Belarus accredited testing laboratory. Approved product shall have mandatory Belarus marking: TP BY.
