Electromagnetic compatibility

The BELLIS laboratory conducts electromagnetic compatibility tests in accordance with national, interstate, regional and international standards, as well as conformity assessment (certification, declaration).


BELLIS offers testing services for the following types of products:

• multimedia and telecommunication equipment;

• audio and video equipment;

• power tools for home and garden;

• building power tools;

• luminaire and lighting equipment;

• adapters and power supplies, chargers, uninterruptible power supplies;

Product tests are conducted for compliance with:

1) Electromagnetic emission:

• Conducted emission for mains, telecommunication and associated ports.

• Radiated emission.• Harmonic current emission in public low-voltage supply systems.

• Voltage fluctuations and flicker in public low-voltage supply systems.

2) Immunity:

• Immunity to electrostatic discharge (ESD).

• Immunity to radiated radio frequency electromagnetic fields.

• Immunity to electrical fast transients (EFTs, bursts).

• Immunity to surges.

• Immunity to conducted disturbances, induced by radio-frequency fields.

• Immunity to magnetic disturbances at power frequencies 50Hz and 60Hz.

• Immunity to impulse magnetic field.

• Immunity to voltage dips, short interruptions and voltage variations.

3) Electromagnetic fields in terms of human exposure:

• Electromagnetic fields of household appliances and similar apparatus with regard to human exposure.

• Assessment of lighting equipment related to human exposure to electromagnetic fields.

4) Electromagnetic compatibility at the place of operation or production:

• Testing of equipment and systems at production facilities of the manufacturer or at the place of intended operation.

The laboratory takes measurements emission and radiated immunity in a shielded semi-anechoic chamber SAC-3PLUS L DOME manufactured by Frankonia Germany Solution GmbH (Germany) in accordance with the following standards, including those specified in the list of Technical Regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Additional Information:The most important objective with regard to electromagnetic interference requirements is to prevent electrical “contamination” of the radio frequency spectrum and to maintain operational integrity for radio transmission services.

Maintaining a low level of ambient noise is in the interest of either party, as provides the ability to operate correctly even equipment having low immunity to electromagnetic interference, and allows the radio transmission service to continue to work in accordance with the purpose.

Today, the world of wireless is changing rapidly, and the number of services and frequency distribution are growing rapidly. Therefore, more efforts must be made to protect these services and the frequency region in which they operate.
