Each country/region establishes its own technical requirements and conformity assessment procedure, ensuring access to international markets is a complex and demanding task.

CE MARKING

CE marking of products is a prerequisite for placing products on the European Union market. To qualify for the CE marking of a product, it is necessary to demonstrate that the product complies with the requirements of all applicable EU directives/regulations. The most effective and reliable way is to obtain certificates within the framework of the international conformity assessment systems of the IEC, in particular, the IECEE CB scheme

IEC INTERNATIONAL CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT SYSTEMS. IECEE CB Scheme

Access to international markets is greatly facilitated by the availability of international standards (IEC, ISO, EN) and international conformity assessment systems. In the field of electrical engineering, there are 4 international systems operating on the basis of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC):

- IECEE – electrical equipment and components.

- IECEx – equipment for explosive environments.

- IECQ – electronic components.

- IECRE – renewable energy sources.

The most successful and developed of the 4 international systems is IECEE CB Scheme. 54 countries (including all developed countries), 93 national certification bodies (NCB), 552 CB testing laboratories (СBTL) participate in IECEE. The Republic of Belarus in the IECEE scheme is represented by BELLIS, which is the IECEE MB, NCB and CBTL.

The manufacturer, having the IECEE CB Certificate and Test Report (IECEE CB Certificate/Test Report), issued by the national certification body (NCB) BELLIS, can obtain a national certificate for products in all other IECEE member states, having received the right to supply products to the market of these countries. In 2010-2022, BELLIS issued more than 400 CB-certificates/test reports, providing support to more than 20 Belarusian exporting enterprises.

BELLIS MUTUAL RECOGNITION AGREEMENTS

Since 1998, BELLIS has been successfully implementing mutual recognition agreements with leading international testing and certification institutes for issuing international certificates based on BELLIS test and inspection results: VDE (Germany), NEMKO (Norway), TUV (Germany), Intertek Semko ( Sweden), EZU (Czech Republic), KTC (Korea), CEPREI (China), etc. This cooperation became possible and is being implemented due to the accreditation of the certification body and the BELLIS testing laboratory by the German accreditation body DATECH / DakkS (1998-2009) and the confirmation of competence within the framework of the IECEE (2010 - present).
